Timothy Program

Since 1963 we have been creating unforgettable camp experiences at Caraway Conference Center and Camps, and this tradition continues in the Timothy Program. The Timothy Program is a high school leadership development program for teenagers ages 15-18. Our mission is to introduce high school students to camp ministry, challenge them to grow in team work and servant leadership, and encourage them to grow in their faith.

The application process consists of an online application and video interview. This will simultaneously help us get to know the Timothy candidates and help them develop their professional and personal skill set. Once approved, we will send the candidate a link to register and pay online. Participants will also be asked to attend our Pre-Camp Orientation. This will be a time for the participants to meet others in their cohort, tour camp, participate in fun activities, and meet our Coordinators on a weekend in early summer.

Timothy Program Participants are campers. Their day will be filled with participating in fun activities, learning to be a servant leader, projects, assisting in some aspects of camp programming, and attending Bible studies. They will be led by our Timothy Program Coordinators throughout the day and have the chance to shadow our Summer Staff during our camp sessions.

Sessions: We have 2 session options lasting 4 weeks each. The cost includes meals, lodging, staff supervision, books/materials, a weekly fun outing, and recreation. Participants may only attend one session per summer based on availability.

Participants arrive at Camp on Sundays around 5PM and leave for home on Fridays by 6PM.
